Starting a Team

A team is a group of 3 or more fellow team members, associates, friends; co-workers, fellow students, religious/civic organization members and families or anyone you invite to participate with your team.  Team members pre-register, raise money and participate together in AIDS Walk Long Beach on Saturday, June 21 2008. 

Once your team is registered, we’ll send your Team Captain a Team Leader Kit with all the tools you’ll need to begin organizing a successful team or put your team together today and download the forms from the Download Forms link on the left menu bar.

A team is a great morale builder and public exposure for your club, sponsors, business and organizations.  It's a great reason for friends and family to get together, to show support for those fighting HIV/AIDS or walk in memory of loved ones. Join others who are walking and raising funds for the beneficiary agencies who a working to end AIDS..

The top team also receives an award at the post event celebration.

Earn a Team Meeting Center!

A team consisting of 10 or more people that register by June 15, 2008 and raises $1500 or more on-line by June 18, 2008 qualify for a Team Station complete with a complimentary breakfast. Team Meeting Centers will be issued to the TOP 5 Teams who have raised the most on-line by June 18, 2008.

Team Stations are prominently placed in the middle of the event site.
