MATCHING GIFT INFORMATION

Your employer may double even triple the amount you've raised! The list below shows some of the companies doing business that offer a matching gift program.  Check to see if your company offers a Matching Gift Program.  If you are not sure, check with your Human Resources Department.  It's a great way to double your fundraising efforts as many companies offer a dollar for dollar match or more!

Can't find your company?  Use the Matching Gift company search engine. Fill out the company name and click "search" to find out.

If your company doesn't have a matching gift program, talk to them about starting one.

If your company is eligible, request a Matching Gift form From your employer, or download it using the link included here.

Bring the completed and signed form with you on the day of AIDS Walk Long Beach to turn in with your donation. If you are making an online donation, please print out your e-mail confirmation and bring it with you, attached to your Matching Gift Form. The impact of your gift to our organization may be doubled or possibly tripled!

Some companies match gifts made by retirees and spouses. Others match the total amount that the participant raises for AIDS Walk Long Beach. Please research your company's policy, and the companies of your sponsors, to make the most of your contribution.

Many employers will match dollar for dollar the amount you raise toward the charity you are involved in.  The place to begin is with your company’s Human Resources Department.  If they do not administer the company’s Matching Gift Program, they can direct you to the appropriate department.

Many companies process their Matching Gifts online.  If you are on a team, make sure your fellow team walkers also check with their employers for matching gifts.  This is a great way to double your teams efforts in fundraising.
