Check-In on Event Day - New & Improved!

The easiest of all registrations is by doing everything on-line.  In fact, on-line participants raise 60% more money than those who raise funds strictly offline. But on the event day you still need to check in and turn in any additional off-line funds you have collected.

Improved and refined for 2008! The nicest thing about the non-profit world is that nothing is ever new and yet nothing ever stays the same.  Last year we used a process from AIDS Walk San Diego that improved our check process.  For 2008 we are using the same process with slight refinements.  Your feedback and comments helped us determine to keep the improved check-in process with a few refinements for this year.  Why mess with something that works?

Fast, Simple and Easy!

Everyone must check-in at Registration

On Event Day all you have to do is:

• Runners go straight to 5K/10K Registration Run Check-In prep your envelope and get                   your Bib Number Tag

• All Walkers go first to the Walk Check-In table and prep your envelope.

• Teams go to Teams Check-In table and prep your envelope.

• Next you will then take your envelope to the Registration Team behind the Check-In Station.

• Registration will give you the "Goody Bag" with your paid registration fee and claim tickets for all incentives you have earned for your fundraising.

• Claim your incentive at the Walk Incentives booth.

• Team Captains check-in at the Team Center for your Team Sign and Team Photo

  Registration Opens at 7:00 AM,  Closes at 9:30 AM

Runners:

Run Registration Closes at 8:15 AM

10K Run Starts at 8:15 AM (subject to change)

5K Run Starts at 8:30 AM (subject to change)

Walkers:

Walk Registration Closes at 9:30 AM

Walk Starts at 9:30 AM

Teams:

Team Check-In Closes at 9:30 AM

Team Photos Open at 7:00 AM, Last Team Photo at 9:25 AM

Team Photo Pick-up at Team Center Available at 11:00 AM

All Teams should report to the Team Center after Registration for a Team Photo.
